This Privacy Policy explains how Stillness collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Stillness iPhone app and website.
Stillness is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Information We Collect
Account information
If you create an account, we may collect your email address and authentication identifiers so you can sign in, sync your progress, restore access, and use app functionality.
Practice and progress data
We may collect session-related data such as stillness scores, selected levels, session dates, movement summaries, body-area trends, streak/progress information, and app usage events needed to operate the product.
Camera and pose processing
Stillness uses the iPhone camera to estimate posture and movement during a session. Camera frames are processed on device for motion and pose detection. We do not store or transmit video recordings to our servers.
Purchase information
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We may receive non-sensitive subscription status information needed to unlock premium features, manage entitlements, and support restore purchases.
How We Use Information
- Provide the Stillness app experience, including session tracking, levels, analytics, and progress history.
- Sync your account and practice data across supported devices.
- Maintain subscription access and restore purchases.
- Improve reliability, debug issues, prevent abuse, and support users.
- Comply with legal, security, and App Store requirements.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not store or transmit camera video recordings from your sessions.
- We do not use your camera data for advertising.
Storage and Service Providers
Stillness may use trusted infrastructure providers, including Supabase, to store account, progress, and session-related data required for app functionality. Apple processes App Store purchases and subscriptions under Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
Service providers are used only to operate, secure, and improve Stillness.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. You may also request that we limit certain processing where applicable.

Data Retention
We keep account and practice data for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize data unless retention is required by law or legitimate security needs.
Children
Stillness is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Users
If you use Stillness outside your country of residence, your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app, website, or other appropriate channels.
